Folk tales from Ireland and around the world, recitations, myths, legends, original stories, story songs, Interactive/musical storytelling and arts/creative writing based workshops.


Preferred audience:


All ages and abilities – from pre-school to older folk and all the ages along the way! Steve works with children and adults with special needs, teenagers and elderly care. He works with school groups, young offenders, victim support groups, minority groups, local history societies, cultural and sexual diversity organisations, pre-school and nursery staff.


Background experience:


Steve Lally has worked as both an artist and storyteller throughout Ireland for over fifteen years. He has been involved in many storytelling based projects over the years dealing with a diverse range of subjects such as Peace Building, Sexual Identity, Cultural Identity, Special Needs and Mental Illness. He is part of the 'Poetry Ireland-Writers in Schools', scheme and has written and illustrated a book on the 'Folk tales of County Down', published by 'The History Press' in July 2013. He is currently working on the 'Folk Tales of County Kildare', which is to be published in July 2014.
